Ratios and times are built from producer instructions and recipe standards, then normalized into practical profiles by rice type and method (covered pot, rice cooker, open pan). This calculator includes chef calibration where needed (for example jasmine 1:1 in rice cooker and bomba 1:2 covered / 1:3 open).
