Cute Egg Timer is a free web application. We keep data collection minimal and use this page to explain what may be processed when you use the site.
Information We Collect
- Basic usage data through standard web server logs (for example, page visits and browser type).
- Anonymous product events through PostHog, such as which Chef Labs tool is opened, controlled setup choices, and timer actions. We do not send ingredient notes, free-text input, or account details.
- Advertising-related data if Google AdSense or similar services are enabled.
- No account sign-up data is required to use the timer.
Cookies And Ads
If ads are displayed, third-party vendors (including Google) may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ads settings.
Product Analytics
PostHog helps us understand whether the tools are useful and where a cooking flow fails. Automatic click capture and session replay are disabled. We do not identify visitors. A random browser identifier may be stored locally so aggregate journeys can be measured, and Do Not Track is respected.
